Car benefit type

You can open the view or perform the function by selecting Payroll > Payroll > Salary model management > Company-specific salary types > click on the name of the salary type that handles the car benefit. In several different salary model templates in Netvisor, the salary type "Limited company car benefit" is used for this purpose.

1. Define the car benefit type in the company-specific settings of the salary type.
2. Specify the car benefit type when you select the income type 304 Car benefit for the salary type.
3. Select the car benefit type from the following options:
   • Limited company car benefit
   • Unlimited company car benefit

Car age group, car benefit abroad, and emission value

You can open the view or perform the function by selecting Payroll > Personnel > Employee listing > Click on the employee's name > Case tab > Select the pencil/notebook icon at the end of the row > Case management and browse to "Year of implementation of the car benefit car".

1. Find the year of implementation of the car benefit car on the employee's Case tab.
2. Save the information, after which the car age group information automatically appears after the year of implementation.
3. Provide additional information if the car benefit is received abroad.
4. In the same view, also enter the car's emission value.

Number of kilometers

1. Add the number of kilometers for private use to the payslip created for the employee by clicking the "pencil/notebook" icon at the end of the salary type row.

1. Add the number of kilometers in the payslip salary type row editing function in the column "private use kilometers" and save the change. 
2. Check the saved information in the payroll information notification preview. After saving, the information does not remain visible in the field, but it is saved in the payroll information notification.

Error situations

Check the missing mandatory information that is reported with an error in the payroll information notification:

Correct the income type if the car benefit salary type is assigned to the wrong income type (for example, "201 Time pay") and car benefit information has been given to this salary type row. This is reported in the payroll information notification errors with an error as shown in the image below:

Handle the car age group in the employee's basic information on the Case tab if the car benefit is missing age group information and the program gives an error message in the payroll information notification as shown in the screenshot below.

Where is the car benefit type defined?
Define the car benefit type in the company-specific settings of the salary type. When the income type 304 Car benefit is selected for the salary type, specify whether it is a limited company car benefit or an unlimited company car benefit.

Where do I add the year of implementation and age group of the car benefit car?
Add the year of implementation on the employee's Case tab. When you save the information, the car age group appears automatically.
