Car benefit type

The car benefit type is defined in the company-specific settings of the salary type. Payroll > Payroll > Salary model management > Company-specific salary types > click on the name of the salary type that handles the car benefit. In several different salary model templates in Netvisor, the salary type "Limited company car benefit" is used for this purpose.

When the income type 304 Car benefit is selected for the salary type, the car benefit type must be specified:

The car benefit type can be selected from:

• Limited company car benefit
• Unlimited company car benefit

Car age group, car benefit abroad, and emission value

The year of implementation of the car benefit car can be found on the employee's "Case" tab.

Payroll > Personnel > Employee listing > Click on the employee's name > Case tab > Select the pencil/notebook icon at the end of the row > Case management and browse to "Year of implementation of the car benefit car"

When the information is saved, the car age group information automatically appears after the year of implementation.

If the car benefit is received abroad, additional information must be provided. It is also possible to provide the car's emission value in the same view.

Number of kilometers

The number of kilometers for private use can be added to the payslip created for the employee by clicking the "pencil/notebook" icon at the end of the salary type row.

The number of kilometers is added in the payslip salary type row editing function in the column "private use kilometers". Remember to save the change.

After saving, the information does not remain visible in the field, but it is saved in the payroll information notification. You can check the saved information in the payroll information notification preview.

Error situations

Missing mandatory information is reported with an error in the payroll information notification:

If the car benefit salary type is assigned to the wrong income type, for example, "201 Time pay" and car benefit information is given to this salary type row, an error is reported in the payroll information notification as shown in the image below:

If the car benefit is missing age group information, the program gives an error message in the payroll information notification as shown in the screenshot below. The car age group is handled in the employee's basic information on the Case tab.
