Product Group Report

This help explains how to use the Product group report to track the sales development of products over a selected time period and how to view sales data using different comparison methods.

The Product group report allows tracking the sales development of products over a selected time period. 

Sales > Reports > Product group report
Open the Product group report by selecting Sales > Reports > Product group report.
The Product group report view shows the sales development of products over the selected time period.

Proceed as follows when viewing the sales data of an individual product:

1. Click the product name to open the product statistics for the active time period.
2. Click the summary links to drill down and view in more detail the sales of the selected column’s time period for the product.

Comparison - The menu offers three different comparison methods:

• Percentage change from the previous time period
• Percentage change from the previous Financial period’s time period
• Percentage of the product group’s total

Select the comparison method as follows:

1. Open the Comparison menu.
2. Select one of the following options:
   • Percentage change from the previous time period
   • Percentage change from the previous Financial period’s time period
   • Percentage of the product group’s total

Time period - The menu offers three different time periods:

• Monthly periods
• Quarterly periods
• Financial period periods

Select the time period as follows:

1. Open the Time period menu.
2. Select one of the following options:
   • Monthly periods
   • Quarterly periods
   • Financial period periods

If the selected time period is Financial period or Quarterly period, the displayed year can be changed from above the table using the "<<(year) and (year)>>" options:

If the selected time period is Monthly period, the "<<Previous and Next>>" functions are also available (one click moves the table by one month).

Change the displayed year or month as follows:

1. Select Financial period periods or Quarterly periods as the time period when you want to change the displayed year using the "<<(year) and (year)>>" options above the table.
2. Select Monthly periods as the time period when you want to use the "<<Previous and Next>>" functions. One click moves the table by one month.
