Purchases > New Purchase Invoice
It is possible to insert new purchase invoice manually. We recommend that company uses e-invoices, but if invoice arrives via mail, it can be inserted manually. All fields, which contain star -sign are mandatory and it is not possible to save invoice if those fields are not inserted.
Invoice number can contain both numbers and letters. It is not possible to add two same number invoices on same vendor and in the same financial period. However if invoice, which contains same numbers, arrives via e-invoice, it will arrive into Netvisor. Then there is shown duplicate message and user can check is the new invoice valid or not.
Invoice date. In addition voucher, which is created based on this invoice will get the same date.
You can search exiting vendor by typing it on the vendor -field. If vendor is not found, it must be created before invoice can be created.
If value date is inserted, due date is calculated based on value date. If term of payment is, for example 14 days net. Then Due date is calculated based on value date and not the date field.
Terms of payment
Terms of payment is calculated from value date, if it is added. If not, then value is calculated from date -field. It is also possible to add due date manually.
Pay to account
You can select correct bank account, if there is two or more bank accounts behind vendor data. Invoice is payed from this account.
It is possible to add due date manually. Then terms of payment needs to be "Eräpäivä".
You can insert penalty interest %, which comes from Sales > Basic data and settings > Basic data of sales. You can also change this field value manually.
Reference value from the sender/vendor.
You can insert complaint time, which comes from Sales > Basic data and settings > Basic data of sales. You can also change this field value manually.
Reference value from the receiver of the invoice.
Bank reference number and message
There needs to be fill the bank reference number or message field. If invoice contains RF reference number, then this need to be added into message -field. When invoice is payed, Netvisor adds this data into correct place in payment xml -file, which goes to the bank.
Total amount of the invoice.
When selected vendor contains foreign bank account, you can change the invoice currency. Currency is added into bank account data, but it can be changed manually in this field. If you change the currency, you can see the currency rate behind the currency. Currency rate data is updated once per day.
If vendor contains foreign bank account, it is possible to change the currency rate manually. Not all the possible currencies contains rate value. Then this needs to be added manually.
Invoice additional information
This is internal data and you can add necessary information into this field.
Purchase order numbers related to the purchase invoice
If company uses purchase orders in Netvisor, you can link the purchase order and purchase invoice so that you know that these belongs together.
