Mitä tapahtuu: 

• Netvisor siirtyy julkiseen pilveen. Siirto tehdään kahdessa osassa, ensin Netvisorin koulutusympäristön osalta syyskuussa 27.-30.9.2024, ja tuotantoympäristön osalta alustavasti 22.-25.11.2024. Infoamme tästä lisää lähempänä ajankohtaa.

Miksi: 

• Skaalautuvuus: Pilvisiirtymällä parannamme Netvisor-palvelun toimivuutta sekä takaamme sen suorituskyvyn, luotettavuuden ja skaalautuvuuden myös tulevina vuosina.
• Tietoturva: Pilvipalvelut tarjoavat monipuoliset ja ajantasaiset tietoturvaominaisuudet, kuten palvelun kattavan salauksen ja auditoinnin, jotka parantavat Netvisorin yleistä tietoturvatasoa.

Milloin:

• Siirtymä tehdään kahdessa vaiheessa
• Ensimmäinen vaihe: Koulutusympäristö siirretään 27.9.2024 klo 18.00 - 30.9.2024 klo 6.00 (vaikuttaa oppilaitoksiin ja demoympäristöihin). Ennen siirtymää koulutusympäristöstä tullaan poistamaan tänä vuonna käyttämättömät demoympäristöt. Mikäli haluatte säilyttää ympäristön, tulee ympäristöön kirjautua kerran sisään tai ottaa yhteyttä demoympäristön rajapintaan ennen 16.9.2024. 
• Toinen vaihe: Tuotantoympäristö siirretään alustavasti 22.11.2024 klo 18.00 - 25.11.2024 klo 6.00 (vaikuttaa kaikkiin asiakkaisiin).

Miten muutos vaikuttaa asiakkaisiin:

• Siirtymän aikana palvelussa tulee olemaan väliaikainen käyttökatko Netvisorissa ja rajapinnassa.
• Muutos voi aiheuttaa siirtymän jälkeisinä päivinä erinäisiä häiriöitä tuotteessa.
• Pilvisiirtymän jälkeen muutos näkyy asiakkaille ainoastaan parempana käyttökokemuksena. Kyseessä on edelleen sama Netvisor, vaikka alusta vaihtuu. Esimerkiksi, jos vaihdat luotettavan kuplavolkkarisi moottorin, se on edelleen sama auto, mutta se kulkee nopeammin, siinä on vähemmän vikoja, se kuluttaa vähemmän polttoainetta ja saastuttaa vähemmän.

Olemme valmistautuneet tähän pilvisiirtymään pitkään ja huolella. Muutosta edistävät Netvisorin tuotekehityksen asiantuntijat. Huolellisesta varautumisesta huolimatta, muutos voi aiheuttaa siirtymän jälkeisinä päivinä erinäisiä häiriöitä tuotteessa. Tästä syystä pyydämmekin asiakkaitamme ilmoittamaan viipymättä havaitut ongelmat suoraan asiakastukeen: tuki.netvisor@visma.com. Asiakastukemme on valmistautunut auttamaan muutokseen liittyvissä tilanteissa. 

Netvisorin henkilötietojen käsittelyn uudeksi alihankkijaksi tulee Microsoft Azure

Siirtymän yhteydessä Netvisorin alihankkijana uudeksi henkilötietojen käsittelijäksi tulee Microsoft Azure. Tiedot sijaitsevat fyysisesti EU/ETA-alueella. Netvisorin kaikki alihankkijat löytyvät osoitteesta: Visma Trust Centre - Netvisor.

Vaikutukset asiakkaan palomuurin rajauksiin

Huomioittehan, että Netvisorin rajapinta on avoin internetiin eikä erillisiä IP-osoitteita tai niiden avauksia tarvita. Netvisor ei palveluiden skaalautumisen johdosta tue kiinteää ulkoista IP-osoitteistoa. Tämän johdosta osoitekohtaisia rajauksia palveluun kohdistuvassa liikenteessä ei suositella. Mikäli palomuurissa kuitenkin halutaan whitelistata, tulee siinä jatkossa käyttää FQDN-rajausta IP- rajauksen sijasta. System outage in the Training Environment 27.9.-30.9.2024 - Netvisor moves to Public Cloud

What is happening:

• Netvisor is moving to the public cloud. The move will be carried out in two parts, first concerning the Netvisor training environment from September 27 to September 30, 2024, and the production environment is tentatively scheduled for November 22 to November 25, 2024. We will provide more information as the date approaches.

Why:

• Scalability: By moving to the cloud, we are improving the functionality of the Netvisor service and ensuring its performance, reliability, and scalability in the coming years.
• Security: Cloud services offer versatile and up-to-date security features, such as comprehensive encryption and auditing of the service, which enhance the overall security level of Netvisor.
  
  

When:

• The migration will be made in two phases
• First phase: The training environment will be moved from September 27, 2024, at 18.00 to September 30, 2024, at 6.00 (affecting educational institutions and demo environments). Before the migration, unused demo environments from this year will be removed from the training environment. If you wish to keep your environment, you must log in to the environment once or send an API request to the corresponding environment before September 16, 2024.
• Second phase: The production environment is tentatively moved on November 22, 2024, at 18.00 to November 25, 2024 at 6.00 (affecting all customers).

How this change affects customers:

• There will be a temporary service interruption in Netvisor and its API during the migration
• Following the migration, various disturbances in the product may occur during the following couple of days
• After the cloud migration, the change will be visible to customers only as an improved user experience. It is still the same Netvisor, even though the platform changes. To compare, if you replace the engine of your reliable Beetle, it is still the same car, but it goes faster, has fewer faults, consumes less fuel, and pollutes less.

We have prepared for this cloud migration thoroughly and carefully. The change is supported by Netvisor's product development experts. Despite careful preparation, various disturbances in the product may occur in the days following the migration. For this reason, we ask our customers to report any problems encountered directly to customer support without delay: tuki.netvisor@visma.com. Our customer support is prepared to assist in situations related to the change.

Microsoft Azure becomes the new subcontractor for the processing of personal data for Netvisor

In connection with the migration, Microsoft Azure will become the new personal data processor as a subcontractor for Netvisor. The data is physically located within the EU/EEA area. All of Netvisor's subcontractors can be found at the address:  Visma Trust Centre - Netvisor. 

Effects on the customer's firewall restrictions

Please note that Netvisor is publicly available on the internet and does not require any customer side modifications. To enable scalability of our services we do not support any fixed IP configurations, and therefore, address-specific whitelisting on service-bound traffic is not recommended. However, if there is a need to whitelist in the firewall, it is advised to use FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) restrictions instead of IP restrictions moving forward.
