Login to Netvisor browser version
Two-factor authentication in Netvisor mobile application
The primary way to log in to the Netvisor mobile application is with Finnish bank credentials or Hightrust.id. After strong authentication, the user is directed to two-factor authentication (2FA). This does not apply to employees who do not have access rights to Netvisor and who only log working hours into the mobile app.
The two-factor authentication confirmation code is sent to the user's communication contact information. The confirmation code is sent both via email and phone. If one of these details is up to date, the confirmation code will reach the user.
The confirmation code is valid for 90 seconds. The environment's KH user can add a communication phone number for the user.
- In Netvisor, go to the basic menu that opens from the company name > Users and roles > select the desired user > Edit user personal information > Communication tab.
- Set the communication phone number and save.
- Ensure that there are no special characters like . or - in the phone number field (+358 is allowed).
- Note that the communication email can only be set by the user themselves, but the phone number can be set by the KH user.
- Note that the user's basic information may have different contact information than on the Communication tab.
- Ensure that the user's contact information is up to date. The user is responsible for their own contact information, or the user administrator on behalf of the user.
If, after two-factor authentication, the login fails, check the app store to ensure you have the latest app version.
- Check in the app store that you are using the latest version of the Netvisor mobile application.
- If necessary, remove the application.
- Turn off and restart the phone.
- Download the application again.
- Try logging in to the application again.
Inviting a foreign user to Netvisor
The primary way to log in and start using the Netvisor mobile application is with Finnish bank credentials or Hightrust.id. If a foreign person does not have Finnish online banking credentials and cannot obtain them, you can invite them as a user of the Netvisor mobile application. A foreign user can be invited by a person with the User administrator (KH) or Main user of the accounting office (TPK) role.
If the user is already found in Netvisor, you can skip the steps related to adding the user.
- Add the person as a new user by selecting Company menu (company name) > Users and roles > press the "Add user" button in the upper right corner of the opened view. See detailed instructions on the page Adding, inviting, and logging in a foreign user.
- Complete the user's information accurately. Ensure that the email address is in the correct format and that the phone number is given in international format: first the + sign, then the country code and the number without the first zero.
- Grant the desired access rights to the user (you can change these later).
- Press "Create user".
- Open the user's information by selecting Company menu > Users and roles > click the user's name from the list.
-
Click the "Invite user to log in with the mobile application" link on the left.
- If the user needs to be re-invited to Netvisor and their information has not been changed, a TPK- or KH-role user can perform the re-invitation from the same "Invite user to log in with the mobile application" link.
- If changes have been made to the user's information, contact Netvisor customer service to re-invite the user.
-
In the invitation view, check that the invited user's information is correct. If there are errors in the information, close the invitation view and edit the user's information before sending the invitation.
- Check the box to confirm that you have verified the invited user's identity (1).
-
Press "Send invitation" (2) at the bottom.
- The invitation is sent to the provided email address.
- The invitation is valid for 24 hours.
- The invitation is sent in English.
After sending the invitation, you can cancel the invitation with the "Cancel invitation" button.
- If a new invitation needs to be sent to the user (for example due to a phone change, without changes in contact information), a TPK/KH user can send a new invitation from the same invitation view.
- The user can also re-authenticate with their own Visma Connect account, in which case a new invitation does not need to be sent.
The invited user will see the sender of the invitation and the company name and receive a 16-character sign-up code, which they must enter into the Netvisor mobile application.
- The user enters the 6-digit verification code received via SMS into the application.
- Finally, the user receives an email from which they can create a Visma Connect account password, which completes the authentication process in the application.
Note! If the user does not receive the 6-digit verification code via SMS and cannot order it themselves (the invitee can request a maximum of 2 new verification codes from the application), a person with the TPK/KH role can generate a verification code for the invitee from the invitation view via the "Didn't the invitee receive the verification code?" link:
The "Didn't the invitee receive the verification code?" link will only appear once the user has entered the 16-digit sign-up code into the mobile application.
Open the view behind the link and generate a verification code.
- Save the verification code before leaving the view.
- Deliver the code to the invited user.
- The verification code is valid for 12 hours.
- The verification code also extends the validity of the invitation if the invitation was about to expire earlier.

Frequently asked questions
How to invite a foreign user to Netvisor?
Invite a foreign user by first adding them as a user by selecting Company menu > Users and roles > "Add user". Ensure that all information, such as email and phone number, is correct and that the phone number is in international format. The user administrator or main user of the accounting office can then invite the user to log in with the mobile application via the "Invite user to log in with the mobile application" link.
What to do if the invitation or confirmation code does not arrive?
If the invitation or 6-digit confirmation code does not arrive, a TPK- or KH-role user can send a new confirmation code from the invitation view via the "Didn't the invitee receive the verification code?" link after the invitee has entered the 16-character sign-up code into the application. Also ensure that the information you entered is correct and the email address is in the correct format.
How to create a personal PIN code?
Create a personal PIN code in the Netvisor mobile application during the activation process. After you have entered the 6-digit confirmation code, the application will ask you to create and confirm a personal PIN code. Use this PIN code for future logins to the application.
