Implementation and permissions
Open Controller by selecting Controller from the top bar in Netvisor.
Controller is automatically available to all customers with Professional and Premium packages, and sections do not need to be activated separately.
- Make sure that each Controller user has the option "Access to Controller page" selected in their function-specific rights.
- The "Access to Controller page" right is included by default in the All rights profile.
A user with the accounting office administrator role (TPK) automatically receives Controller administrator rights.
- If you do not have the TPK role, make sure that you have at least one of the following Netvisor rights for the company in order to access Controller:
- Accountant (KP)
- User administrator (KH)
- Accounting office administrator (TPK)
- Company administrator
- Company user profile
- All rights profile
After implementation, add other Netvisor users as Controller users in Controller user management.
- Open Controller by selecting Controller from the top bar in Netvisor.
- Select Controller > User management.
- Select "Add new" and add the user as an administrator.
- Define the user’s permissions for different Controller functionalities:
- You can restrict permissions to read or edit rights.
- For example, you can give read-only rights to Controller reports and edit rights to the dashboard.
Note the following restrictions and functions related to permissions:
- You cannot edit your own permissions in Controller.
- If a user transitioning to Controller does not have rights to the Controller section:
- The system notifies the user of the missing permissions.
- The user is shown the name of the administrator to contact.
- User addition becomes selectable in Controller once the information has been updated at least once after the user was added.
- If you want to add a user who has just been created in Netvisor:
- Update Controller data manually.
- Then select this new user for Controller.
If a user is removed from Netvisor, remove their Controller user status separately.
- Remove the user from Netvisor as usual.
- Open Controller by selecting Controller from the top bar in Netvisor.
- Select Controller > User management.
- Remove the user’s Controller user status in the User management view.
Updating figures to Controller:
- Figures are updated to Controller by default once a day (early morning).
- The "Update Controller data" function updates graphics and figures with the latest data available from the system.
- Controller automatically saves all changes, such as budgets and forecasts.
The Controller user management page is visible only to the Controller administrator.
- If a user does not see the Controller user management page, make sure they are set as a Controller administrator.
- The administrator can manage Controller permissions for other individuals.
Transition from old Controller to new Controller (NOTE! > includes schedule)

Professional and Premium package customers:
- The new Controller is automatically included in Professional and Premium packages starting from 1.4.2022.

- Budget comparisons can be reported from Controller.
The old Controller can be used alongside the new Controller until 31.12.2027.

Billing for Professional and Premium packages will continue normally starting from 1.4.2022.
- No separate invoice will be sent for the new Controller, as it is included in the Professional and Premium packages.
Billing for the old Controller will end at the end of the month when the customer has terminated the old Controller in Netvisor Store.
