Service activation
Before the user can start filling in the required information, the Group and chain reporting add-on service must be activated. Also, the key figures and management reporting section is mandatory. Services can be added from the Netvisor services section.
The user can do this themselves if they have KH rights to the companies.
Phased implementation
If only Company groups are used, the implementation phases can be directly marked as completed.
Once the phases are marked, press the "start use" button.
Company groups
The view displays existing company groups.
From the view, you can edit the name of the company group or delete it. By clicking the name, you can edit the companies within the company group.
New company group
A new company group can be created from the "Create new company group" link. Give the group a name and a name for the main level.
You will arrive at the view below.
On the page, you build the hierarchy of the created company group and define the companies included in it. You can add as many hierarchy levels as desired and attach companies to desired groups. Companies are displayed in blue on the page, company groups in black.
Hierarchy groups - A new company group initially has only the main level, no other hierarchy, and no companies connected to levels. Only the main level is sufficient if there is no need for sub-levels. If sub-levels are needed, i.e., you want to build a hierarchy, add sub-levels from the main level using the green + "Add subgroup" sign.
You can also establish subgroups for a subgroup if needed. The edit mode for a subgroup is opened from the pencil icon next to the group. The group name can be changed, and it can be moved to another level in the hierarchy.
Attaching companies to groups
Select companies from the company list to add to company groups. Only companies to which the user has rights and have the Controller's Analysis service active are selectable.
Companies matching the search criteria can be listed using the Search function's Search button. Companies already belonging to a hierarchy group are not selectable again, and the selection box appears gray for these.
Select which level the chosen companies will be added to.
In the example, Training companies 1-3 are added to the main level. The resulting view looks like this
Calculate key figures
You can choose which companies' key figures are calculated. Calculate group key figures calculates the key figures for all companies belonging to the company group. More about calculating key figures can be found in the group key figures guide. The calculation may take some time.
Visibility of company groups in the key figure view
Once the company groups are ready, they will appear in the Controller's performance tracking view. The name given to the main level is displayed in the view. At the same time, values can also be compared to another company group.
