The number of working days is obtained for the payslip by following the actions in this help guide. First, create a new salary type named "Working days".
Pay > Payroll > Salary model management > Company-specific salary types > Add new salary type
Create the salary type according to the example in the image below:
- Name: Working days
- Group: Salaries and allowances
- Payslip group: Not considered
- Source: User's formula
- Unit: no need to select
- Income type: no need to select
- Shown in reports: not selected
- Included in calculation by default: selected
- Save
The source of the salary type must be "user's formula" if the value of the salary type is formed by a calculation formula.
When the setting "shown in reports" is not selected, the information of the "Working days" salary type appears on the payslip without the € symbol, and the program automatically brings the working days of the calendar month to the payslip. If necessary, working days can be manually edited on the payslip row.
Next, attach the created salary type to the desired salary model:
Pay > Payroll > Salary model management > Select salary model > Formulas
Select "Attach salary type to salary model" and find in the dropdown menu "Working days" salary type and select "Attach".

If working hours are recorded in the Working hours section in the company, a formula is added to the salary type. Add a new row from the green plus sign, first select from the dropdown menu "pay period calendar information" and then make the selection "Working days during the pay period".

If the Working hours section is not in use, instead of selecting the formula "Working days during the pay period", select "Weekdays during the pay period". This is because if working hours are not marked in the Working hours section on a daily basis, the program does not know the actual number of working days. However, it is possible to use the number of weekdays in the pay period.

Thus, working days will automatically appear on the payslip either according to the weekdays of the pay period or according to the entries recorded in the Working hours section.
