Netvisor API interface is activated by enabling interface resources for an integration. Interface resources can be enabled either generally or individually for one integration. Interface resouces can be enabled for one integration at a time by using integration's PartnerSearchIdentifier.

General or integration specific rights are as if passes that can be defined according to needs. In addition the user needs to create API identifiers to be able to use Netvisor API so only enabling interface resources is not enough.

To be able to edit interface resources the user needs to have User administrator (KH) rights, Accounting office’s administrator (TPK) or Company Administrator rights.

The customer needs to have Professional or Premium service package in Netvisor to be able to use API.

Rights of interface resources page in Netvisor

Rights of interface resources page can be found by opening the company menu from Netvisor > API resource access rights.

Rights of interface resources page in Netvisor is a tool to control what information can be transferred via API. All available resources are shown in different categories. The page shows all allowed interface resources in blue.

From the "Integrations" panel it is possible to choose if access rights are enabled generally for all integrations or for specific integrations. We recommed that access rights are enabled intergation specifically and general access rights are not used. The panel shows all integrations that have access rights for company's web service interface. Integration specific access rights override general access rights.

Note! Once an integration is added to the Integrations panel it cannot be removed. If an integration is added by mistake, disable all access rights for that specific integration.

General access rights

By enabling general access rights, the access rights are given to all integrations. General access rights can be given either one resource at a time or partition at a time. If no specific resource restrictions are needed, general access rights can be used.

Finished integration access rights

Finished interations are integrations that can be found from Netvisor Marketplace and under this header Netvisor shows all added finished intergations. Finished intergations can be given access rights by searching the integration with its name.

Each finished integration can be given unique access rights by clicking the name of the integration to determine what information can be exported and imported from and to Netvisor via web service interface. Integration specific access rights override general access rights.

Note! If some resource is not enabled access rights in integration specific access rights, the resource is disabled even if it was enabled in general access rights.

Custom integration access rights

Custom integrations are custom made or company's own integrations. Access rights to custom integrations can be given using partner search key, that the integration partner provides.

Each custom integration can be given unique access rights to determine what information can be exported and imported from and to Netvisor via web service interface by clicking integration's name. Integration specific access rights override general access rights.

Note! If some resource is not given access rights in integration specific access rights, the resource is disabled even if it was enabled in general access rights.

Closing API traffic

The whole API traffic can be closed by pressing "Block API trafic" button in "API traffic" panel. "API traffic panel" can be found in Rights of interface resources page in Netvisor.

API traffic can also be closed by disabling all access rights for all intergations. When all resources are disabled the "Block API trafic" button turns grey.

Closing API traffic for single integration can be done by choosing the right integration in "Integrations" panel and disabling all resources. The "Integrations" panel shows red exlamation mark inside an octagon after the integration when all resources are disabled.
