Default company
The default company is the company to which you were originally registered in Netvisor.
Check your default company as follows:
- Select the Users and roles view.
- Find your name in the user list.
- Check your default company in the Default company column.
- If *** is shown as the default company, your default company is a company to which you do not have access rights.
Note the effect of the default company on logging in:
- If your access rights to your default company are removed, you cannot log in to any company, even if you have access rights to other companies.
- When logging in is blocked due to the default company, a pop-up window will appear the next time you log in, allowing you to select a new default company.
- If the pop-up window does not appear, ask Netvisor support to change your default company.
- You cannot change another user's default company.
Proceed as follows if you can log in but need to change the default company:
- If the default company needs to be changed, for example to a new employer company, contact Netvisor customer support.
- If your former default company was an accounting office, request the change of the default company from Netvisor support.
What does the default company affect?
Chat
Chat is available in your default company.
- When you use Netvisor Chat, you always use it in your default company.

When an email address is saved in your system communication information, the sending of eScan material is directed to your default company.

- Another user can add your email address to the eScan material import email addresses view.
- The person adding the address must have the same default company as the user of the email address.

Signing the financial statements
The Financial statements executor field affects the text shown on the balance sheet book.
- If you leave the Financial statements executor field empty, the default company of the person who executed the financial statements will appear in the field.
- If you want other text on the balance sheet book, type the desired text in the field manually.

Auditors in Netvisor
Take care of the auditor's default company as follows:
- Set the auditor's default company to Netvisor Tilintarkastajat so that the auditor can later be added to other companies as an auditor without issues.
- If, after adding the auditor, the default company is something other than Netvisor Tilintarkastajat, contact Netvisor customer support to correct the default company.
- When the auditor's default company is Netvisor tilintarkastajat, the temporary nature of the access rights also serves as the basis for charging the auditor authorization.
