- Pre-filled bank payment traffic agreements
To enable Netvisor to automatically transmit bank data between Netvisor and banks, a payment traffic agreement is required for all banks whose accounts are linked to Netvisor. Payment traffic agreements must be submitted filled out to the company's own bank branch, not to Visma Solutions Oy. Some banks use an electronic payment traffic agreement form, which is filled out on the bank's website or through links found at the end of this guide. Danske Bank also accepts electronically signed payment traffic agreements via Visma Sign. NOTE! The bank connection is automatically activated between Netvisor and the bank when the bank has updated the services and settings according to the payment traffic agreement in its own systems.
Supported banks in Netvisor
- Nordea Bank
- Handelsbanken
- Savings Banks (including Oma Savings Bank)
- Cooperative Banks and OKO
- Ålandsbanken - Currency payments must be manually reconciled from the account statement. A new receivables payment guide through the account statement can be found here.
- Danske Bank Oyj
- POP Bank
- DnB NOR Bank ASA (Den Norske Bank) - cannot provide LMP feedback for foreign payments, so these invoices must be processed manually. A new receivables payment guide through the account statement can be found here
- Aktia Bank
- Holvi starting from 11.6.2024
Getting connections and data into Netvisor quickly requires the following actions:
- Ensure that all bank account information is entered into Netvisor. Enter the information at: Company name (top left corner) > Company basic information and settings > Bank accounts
- Make payment traffic agreements with all banks whose accounts are linked to Netvisor.
If the bank account is not established in the system before the payment traffic agreement is in effect, it is possible that not all data set for retrieval will be received in Netvisor.
The service is activated when the bank has updated the agreements in its own systems. In practice, the service can be used within 1-2 days. If the bank makes an exceptional service/payment identifier (by default it is 0 + the company's business ID without a hyphen), the payment identifier must be updated in the bank account information added to Netvisor in the Company menu > Bank accounts > open the bank account in edit mode. If the correct payment identifier is not found in the Payment Identifier menu, please contact customer service at [email protected].
Sending business e-invoices is automatically enabled in Netvisor for each client company, and no company-specific agreement is needed for sending business e-invoices. However, sending consumer e-invoices must be agreed separately with a payment traffic agreement.
There is no need to worry about retrieving exchange rates in your payment traffic agreement. The exchange rate is the ECB's rate from the previous day, and it is automatically retrieved into the system.
If changes are desired in the payment traffic agreement, they are reported to the bank.
Filling out the payment traffic agreement
The payment traffic agreement covers the following matters:
Arrival of account statements
- Payment traffic agreement section batch transfer account statement, electronic account statement, machine-readable account statement
- How often the account statement arrives from the bank to Netvisor. The delivery interval for account statements can be chosen between one day and one month.
- The account statement must be in KTO or TITO format. Account statements are not read into Netvisor in xml format.
- If there are many transactions per day on the bank account, it is advisable to choose a daily account statement for the company. In this case, the account statement arrives every banking day.
- Automatically processed based on the account statement:
- Payments for sales invoices
- Payments for purchase invoices
- Salaries and travel expenses
- The arrival of account statements affects the reconciliation of payments. To ensure payments are reconciled as real-time as possible for purchase invoices/transfers paid through Netvisor, we recommend a daily account statement.
Machine-readable reference payments
- Payment traffic agreement section incoming reference payments
- Incoming reference payments, i.e., machine-readable reference payments, must come to Netvisor in KTL/SVM format.
- Incoming reference payments mean that machine-readable reference payment data is received from the bank to Netvisor
- This allows sales invoices to be automatically reconciled if the customer pays them with the invoice reference and the correct amount
- If the company uses sales ledger, it is advisable to also include machine-readable references in the payment traffic agreement. If the sales ledger is not used, incoming reference payments are not needed.
Outgoing payments
- Payment traffic agreement section outgoing payments, sending data in xml format
- Enables payments and transfers to be made from Netvisor
- In the payment traffic agreement, it is possible to agree on the cancellation of payments for Nordea and Cooperative Bank accounts. It is advisable to agree on cancellation so that payments can be canceled electronically through Netvisor.
- The payment traffic agreement may specify euro, currency, and salaries. If purchase invoices and transfers are to be paid through Netvisor, a check is placed in the payments section. If currency-denominated purchase invoices are to be paid through Netvisor, a check is placed in the currency payments section. If salaries are to be paid through Netvisor as recurring payments, a check is placed in the salaries section.
Payment feedback, feedback on payments
- With payment feedback, payments made through Netvisor are automatically processed from the account statement.
- It is recommended to order payment feedback so that payments can be processed as automatically as possible.
Receiving e-invoices
- Payment traffic agreement section receiving e-invoices to IBAN address
- Enables the reception of e-invoices with the bank's e-invoicing address in Netvisor
- This is not necessary because a Maventa connection is opened for all companies using ledgers for sending and receiving e-invoices
Sending consumer e-invoices
- Enables the sending of consumer e-invoices (e-invoice, direct debit invoice), so choose if you want to send them
- In the Cooperative Bank's payment traffic agreement, the e-invoice reception section refers to e-invoices received through the bank network. The e-invoice e-invoicing address section can be left blank. This will automatically be filled with the OVT number if it is available. Co.
Balance inquiry
- Enables manual updating of the bank account balance through the Bank Accounts widget on the Netvisor homepage
- Otherwise, the bank account balance is always automatically updated to the ending balance reported on the latest received account statement
- In the payment traffic agreement, balance inquiry or balance and transaction statement
- Danske Bank's file format for balance inquiry is ACR.
- For Nordea, the format is Camt.052
Other considerations
- The "Liability and collateral specification from batch transfer" and "E-balance certificate from batch transfer" in Nordea's agreement cannot be received in Netvisor
- In Nordea's agreement, the information of the old intermediary is filled in if the company wants to terminate an existing agreement at the same time. Otherwise, the section can be left blank.
- With Nordea's new digital power of attorney, it is no longer directly possible to select currency payments, but these must be added to the agreement afterward by contacting the bank directly. This specifically concerns payments outside the SEPA area.
- With Nordea's new digital power of attorney, it is possible to make agreements for multiple bank accounts concerning the same company on the same form.
- Visma Solutions Oy's signature is not required for payment traffic agreements. The agreement can be submitted without Visma Solutions Oy's signature.
- In the Cooperative Bank's agreement, "Batch debit in use" means that the debit batch is debited as one batch, and if the funds are insufficient, the entire batch is rejected. If batch debit is not in use, each payment is debited individually from the account.
- In the Cooperative Bank's agreement, "Specification of debited payments on the account statement" is recommended to be selected so that each payment is shown separately under batch debit on the account statement.
- The agreement cannot be made for a personal bank account, only for a company account.
- S-Bank no longer opens new small business or association accounts, so if you want to use S-Bank, you must first check with the bank whether they will open payment traffic services for the desired company. S-Bank's web service channel number for Netvisor is 1967543-8. The bank does not have its own payment traffic agreement template.
Changing banks
If the company's bank changes, a payment traffic agreement must be made with the new bank for the desired services, and a new bank account must be added to Netvisor (Company menu > Bank account management > New bank account). If the company sends consumer e-invoices and direct debit invoices to its customers, the billing notification change must be made while the old bank account and payment traffic agreement are still valid. If the account is no longer valid, the change message cannot be sent, and billing notifications with incorrect information will remain in online banks.

Filling out Nordea's payment traffic agreement
Starting from 1.4.2021, Nordea's payment traffic agreement must be filled out using the digital power of attorney found on Nordea's website.
Sending the digital payment traffic power of attorney does not require authentication or representation rights in the authorizing company. Therefore, for example, an accountant can initiate the process by sending the power of attorney directly from Nordea's website.
The power of attorney can be found at: https://www.nordea.fi/yritysasiakkaat/palvelumme/verkko-mobiilipalvelut/valtakirja.html and in the section Digital power of attorney for opening and changing payment traffic services at Nordea.
Please note that when it comes to associations, foundations, or housing companies, the payment traffic agreement is still filled out according to the old template, which can be found on the page Payment traffic power of attorney. Note! The digital power of attorney can only be marked for the company's euro accounts. For opening and changing services related to currency accounts, please contact us.
