The primary way to log in and use the Netvisor mobile app is always with a personal bank ID or mobile ID. If a foreign person does not have Finnish bank IDs and does not have access to them, the alternative is to invite them to become a user of the Netvisor mobile application. The foreign user can be invited by a person with the role of User Administrator (KH) or Accounting office's administrator (TPK) of the company.
Here you will find instructions on how to log in with your Estonian, Norwegian and Swedish ID card: Login with ID-card
Adding a foreign user
1. To create a new user in your company, go to Company Menu (company name in the top left corner) > Users and Roles. In this menu you can see the users of the active company and their access rights.
2. Click on the Add user link to add a new user.
3. A new window for creating a user will open, where you first select the identification method. For a foreign user, the unique data, i.e. foreign personal identity number or other unique identifier (e.g. date of birth) and the country that issued the identifier, must be added. In addition, the user must select whether they have already been set up as a user in Netvisor. If the user is not already a Netvisor user, you can continue to the next section.
NOTE! It is no longer possible to enter a Foreign identifier at a later stage! If you do not provide a foreign identifier, a completely new user will be created and the user IDs cannot be merged.
4. If the person you want to add is already a Netvisor user, you must add their Netvisor identifier. If the identifier matches a user in Netvisor, the user to be added will be identified as the user and the existing user will also be given access to this company. The user can check their Netvisor identifier by logging in to Netvisor and going to the top right of the screen via their own name to access their basic settings. The identifier is also visible in the employee's basic information under foreign identifiers. The KH role user of the company can also check the identifier in the user's details.
5. Define personal information for the user.
6. Define the profiles and roles required for the user. For more information on roles, see the guide Users - managing and adding user rights
Valid For the time being: by default, the option is set to Valid For the time being, in which case the access is valid until it is removed.
Valid Temporary: specify the period of validity of the right of use (in this case, the checkbox will be deselected in the Valid for an indefinite period field). Once the validity period expires, the person concerned will not be able to log on to the company in question. If the validity period is no longer valid, the user will no longer be able to access the account. If the validity period is terminated, this will not stop any e-mail communication from the company, e.g. regarding the purchase invoice approval cycle (issue control, approval, payment). If the communication is to be terminated, then either the user's account rights are removed, or the communication settings in the user's personal data are modified.
7. From the Create User link, the user is based on the users of the active company. The user's access rights can then be edited via the Users and Roles menu.
Inviting a foreign user to Netvisor
Go to the user's details by following this path: Company menu > Users and roles > click on the user's name in the list. Next, click on the link "Invite using mobile application" on the left. If the user needs to be invited to Netvisor again and their details have not changed, users in the TPK or KH role can do the re-invitation via the "Invite using mobile application" link. If there have been changes to the user's details, Netvisor Customer Service should be contacted to reinvite the user.
Make sure that the details of the user you are calling are correct (if there is any faulty information, close the invitation screen and then edit the user's details) and tick the box to confirm the identity of the user you are calling (1). Then click on "Send invitation" (2) at the bottom of the screen. The invitation will be sent to the email address provided and will be valid for 24 hours. The invitation will be sent in English.
After sending the invitation, it is possible to cancel the invitation by pressing the "Cancel invitation" button. If a new invitation needs to be sent to the user (e.g. due to a change of phone, without any change of contact details), this can be done by the TPK or KH user from the same invitation screen. The user themselves can also log in again with the Visma Connect account they have created and does not need to send a new invitation.
The invited user will see the sender and company name of the invitation and will receive a 16-character sign up code, which they must enter in the Netvisor mobile application. If the user does not receive the 16-character sign up code sent by email, please contact Netvisor Customer Service. The user completes the authentication by entering the 6-character verification code received by SMS in the application.
Note! If the user does not receive the 6-character verification code by SMS and cannot order it themselves (the invited user can request a maximum of 2 new confirmation codes from the application), the person in the TPK or KH role can generate a confirmation code for the invited user from the invitation screen (1) "Did the user not receive the invitation?" (2) link:
The link will only appear once the user has entered the 16-character sign up code in the mobile app.
From the screen that opens, a verification code is generated, which must be captured before exiting the screen and delivered to the invited user. The confirmation code is valid for 12 hours and also extends the validity of the invitation if it were to expire earlier.
