The reconciliation view data can be compared to the payer's salary information summary report from the income register. The reconciliation view provides a detailed breakdown of salaries subject to insurance and income used as the basis for the health insurance contribution. Salaries are also broken down by income type. The information can be retrieved based on the salary payment date.
Salary information for wages paid to the company cannot be retrieved in the reconciliation view.
Pay > Reports > Earning payment report reconciliation
The payslip is visible in the reconciliation view when the status of the earning payment report is "In the income register" or "Marked as delivered."
For example, if the notification is rejected, it will not appear in the reconciliation view, but it can be marked as delivered if desired, allowing a notification made through another channel to the income register to be reconciled through the reconciliation view, provided there are no errors in the income type information of the rejected notification.
The reconciliation view currently retrieves the income type information used on the payslip from the income type setting in the salary type settings. If the same salary type has been used for two different income types, the reconciliation view cannot be used for that salary type.
The report breaks down salary amounts according to the salary type and the employee's insurance processing. Individual salary amount rows can be expanded for further examination by clicking the header, which shows the detailed income types and salary amounts.

By selecting the income type section, a more detailed breakdown by employee can be opened.

The search field defaults to the entire year 1.1.20xx - 31.12.20xx. The date search can be edited to include the desired salary payment dates and the employee's name.

Settlement points

Income used as the basis for the unemployment insurance contribution
The income type allocation selected for the salary type in company-specific salary types determines the salary amount's insurance processing. The settings for settlement points can be checked to verify the salary types used as the basis for calculation.

The insurance processing selected in the employee's settings is also considered in the reconciliation view. If the employee's insurance processing has changed during the year, for example, an employee subject to TyEL has changed to YEL, all income types are shown according to the employee's current settings, so YEL-subject salaries are not shown separately. If YEL-subject salaries were paid with their own salary type, they would be easier to break down in the reconciliation view.

The insurance processing does not consider the insurance processing of salary paid during a foreign period but retrieves the information from the current employee and salary type settings. The salary for a foreign work period is easier to break down in the reconciliation view if it is paid with its own salary type.

Income used as the basis for the health insurance contribution
The income type allocation selected for the salary type or in the employee's settings can determine the salary's subjectivity to the health insurance contribution.

Other income types
In the Other income types section, items such as withholding tax and insurance deductions from payslips are reported. Tax at source appears on the same row as withholding tax. Tax at source is not broken down into its own income type, but the tax at source withheld from the salary also appears on the Withholding tax row in the earning payment report reconciliation view.
Using the view
- Check that there are no notifications requiring action on the Earning payment report page
- Retrieve/order the "Payer's salary information summary (one-time listing)" from the Reports section of the income register's electronic service for the desired time period

- Retrieve the corresponding time period in Netvisor's reconciliation view and check the information
Income register summary and exception information for replacement notification
The earning payment report reconciliation view retrieves information according to the current salary types' income type allocations and the insurance settings selected in the employee's settings. If the sums of income types in the original earning payment report have been edited with a replacement notification in Netvisor or the income register's electronic service, the reconciliation view shows information according to the current salary types' settings and not the manually corrected replacement notification information, if the payslip information has not also been corrected according to the provided information.
Manually edited information on the earning payment report does not appear in the reconciliation view. The income register summary view shows the information reported to the income register, including the replacement notification, so there may be exceptions in the information between Netvisor's reconciliation view and the income register for replacement notifications.
