This guide covers the creation and management of payment traffic agreements with different banks in Netvisor. The guide presents supported banks, provides detailed instructions for filling out agreements, and explains bank-specific features.
To enable Netvisor to automatically transmit bank material between Netvisor and banks, create a payment traffic agreement with all banks whose accounts you link to Netvisor. Submit the completed payment traffic agreements to the company's own bank branch, not to Visma Solutions Oy.
Some banks use an electronic payment traffic agreement form, which is filled out on the bank's website or through links found at the end of this guide. Danske Bank also accepts payment traffic agreements electronically signed via Visma Sign. The bank connection is automatically activated between Netvisor and the bank when the bank has updated the services and settings according to the payment traffic agreement in their own systems.

Quickly obtaining connections and material in Netvisor requires the following actions:
- Ensure that the information for all bank accounts is entered into Netvisor. You can open the view by selecting Company name (top left corner) > Company basic data and settings > Bank accounts.
- Create payment traffic agreements with all banks whose accounts are linked to Netvisor.
Note the following when setting up bank accounts and agreements:
- Establish the bank account in Netvisor before the payment traffic agreement is in effect. Otherwise, it is possible that not all material set for retrieval will be received in Netvisor.
- The service is activated when the bank has updated the agreements in their own systems. Netvisor cannot expedite the activation of the agreement.
- If the bank creates an unusual service/payment ID (by default: 0 + the company's Business id without a hyphen), update the payment ID in the bank account information added to Netvisor.
You can open the view by selecting Company menu > Bank accounts > open the bank account in edit mode. If the correct payment ID is not found in the Payment ID menu, please contact customer service: tuki.netvisor@visma.com.
Note the e-invoicing settings:
- Sending business e-invoices is automatically enabled in Netvisor for each customer company, and no company-specific agreement is needed.
- Sending consumer e-invoices must be agreed upon separately with a payment traffic agreement.
Note exchange rates and changes to the agreement:
- Do not add separate terms regarding the retrieval of exchange rates to the payment traffic agreement.
- The exchange rate is the ECB's rate from the previous day, and it is automatically retrieved into Netvisor.
- If you want to make changes to the payment traffic agreement, report the changes to the bank.
Filling out the payment traffic agreement
The payment traffic agreement covers the following matters:
- Arrival of account statements
- Machine-readable reference payments
- Outgoing payments
- Payment feedback, feedback on payments
- Receiving e-invoices
- Sending consumer e-invoices
- Balance inquiry
- Other notes
Arrival of account statements
Make the selections regarding the arrival of account statements as follows:
- Select the payment traffic agreement section batch transfer account statement, electronic account statement or machine-readable account statement.
- Determine how often the account statement arrives from the bank to Netvisor. Choose the delivery interval from:
- daily
- weekly
- monthly (or another interval offered by the bank between one day and one month).
- Ensure that the account statement is in KTO or TITO format. Account statements are not read into Netvisor in xml format.
- If there are many transactions per day on the bank account, choose a daily account statement, in which case the account statement arrives every banking day.
- Note that the following are automatically processed based on the account statement:
- payments for sales invoices (if machine-readable reference payment material is used)
- payments for purchase invoices
- salaries and travel expense reports
- Note that the arrival frequency of account statements affects when payments are acknowledged. If you want purchase invoices and bank transfers paid through Netvisor to be acknowledged as real-time as possible, select a daily account statement.
Machine-readable reference payments
Define machine-readable reference payments as follows:
- Select the payment traffic agreement section incoming reference payments.
- Ensure that incoming reference payments (machine-readable reference payments) come to Netvisor in KTL/SVM format.
- Incoming reference payments mean that machine-readable reference payment material is obtained from the bank to Netvisor.
- Use incoming reference payments so that sales invoices are automatically acknowledged when the customer pays the invoice with the correct reference and amount.
- If the company uses accounts receivable, it is advisable to include machine-readable references in the payment traffic agreement. If accounts receivable is not used, incoming reference payments are not needed.
Outgoing payments
Define outgoing payments as follows:
- Select the payment traffic agreement section outgoing payments, sending material in xml format.
- This enables the payment of invoices and bank transfers from Netvisor to the bank.
- Agree on the cancellation of payments for Nordea and Osuuspankki accounts in the payment traffic agreement so that payments can be canceled electronically through Netvisor.
- Note that the payment traffic agreement may specify:
- euro
- currency
- salaries
- Select the services as follows:
- If you want to pay purchase invoices and bank transfers through Netvisor, select payments.
- If you want to pay currency-denominated purchase invoices through Netvisor, select currency payments.
- If you want to pay salaries as repetitive payments through Netvisor, select salaries.
Payment feedback, feedback on payments
Define payment feedback as follows:
- Note that with payment feedback, payments made through Netvisor are automatically processed from the account statement.
- Order payment feedback so that payments can be processed as automatically as possible.
- Ensure that payment feedback arrives in Netvisor in pain.002.001.02 format.
Receiving e-invoices
Define receiving e-invoices as follows:
- Select the payment traffic agreement section receiving e-invoices to IBAN address if you want to receive e-invoices in Netvisor using the bank's e-invoicing address.
- Note that this is not necessary because a Maventa connection is opened for all companies using accounts receivable for sending and receiving e-invoices.
Sending consumer e-invoices
Define sending consumer e-invoices as follows:
- Select sending consumer e-invoices in the payment traffic agreement if you want to send consumer e-invoices (e-invoice, direct payment invoice).
- Note the following in Osuuspankki's payment traffic agreement:
- The e-invoice reception section refers to e-invoices received through the bank network.
- The e-invoice e-invoicing address section can be left blank. The OVT code will automatically be filled in if it is available.
Balance inquiry
Define balance inquiry as follows:
- Use balance inquiry if you want to manually update the bank account balance through the Bank accounts widget on the Netvisor homepage.
- Note that without balance inquiry, the bank account balance is always automatically updated to the closing balance reported on the latest received account statement.
- Select balance inquiry in the payment traffic agreement and ensure the file formats:
- Danske Bank: ACR
- Nordea: Camt.052
Other notes
Note the following bank-specific and general matters in payment traffic agreements:
- Nordea's agreement sections "Liability and collateral specification from batch transfer" and "E-balance certificate from batch transfer" cannot be obtained in Netvisor.
- Fill in Nordea's agreement with the old intermediary information only if the company wants to terminate an existing agreement at the same time. Otherwise, the section can be left blank.
- Note the following regarding Nordea's new digital power of attorney:
- You cannot directly select currency payments. Ask the bank to add currency payments to the agreement afterward.
- This specifically applies to payments outside the SEPA area.
- You can make agreements for multiple bank accounts for the same company on the same form.
- Visma Solutions Oy's signature is not required for payment traffic agreements. You can submit the agreement to the bank without Visma Solutions Oy's signature.
- In Osuuspankki's agreement, "Batch debit in use" means that the debit batch is debited as a single batch, and if there is insufficient coverage, the entire batch is rejected. If batch debit is not in use, each payment is debited individually from the account.
- Select "Detailed debited payments on the account statement" in Osuuspankki's agreement so that each payment is detailed under the batch debit on the account statement.
- Note that the agreement cannot be made for a personal bank account, only for a company account.
- Note the following regarding S-Bank:
- S-Bank no longer opens new small business or association accounts.
- If you want to use S-Bank, first check with the bank whether they will open payment traffic services for the desired company.
- S-Bank's Webservice channel number for Netvisor is 1967543-8.
- The bank does not have its own payment traffic agreement template.
- Retrieving balance and transaction statements is not supported in Netvisor.
Changing banks
If the company's bank changes, proceed as follows:
- Make a payment traffic agreement with the new bank for the desired services.
- Add a new bank account to Netvisor. You can open the view by selecting Company menu > Bank account management > New bank account.
If the company sends consumer e-invoices and direct payment invoices, proceed as follows:
- Make the change notification for the billing notification while the old bank account and payment traffic agreement are still valid.
- Note that if the account is no longer valid, the change message cannot be sent, and billing notifications with incorrect information will remain in online banks.

- By default, a Maventa connection is opened in Netvisor, where you can select the reception and sending of purchase invoices.
- Sending e-invoices always takes place through Maventa, even if you also select e-invoice sending from Nordea.
Note that Netvisor does not support Nordea's selection "financial statements material in batch transfer", which includes liabilities, collateral and balance certificate.

- Nordea processes the power of attorney within five banking days.

Frequently asked questions
Should the payment traffic agreement be submitted to Visma Solutions Oy?
No. Payment traffic agreements must be submitted completed to the company's own bank branch. Do not send agreements to Visma Solutions Oy.
How quickly is the bank connection activated?
The bank connection is automatically activated between Netvisor and the bank when the bank has updated the services and settings according to the payment traffic agreement in their own systems. Netvisor cannot expedite the activation of the agreement.
What happens if the bank account is not established in Netvisor before the agreement takes effect?
If the bank account is not established in Netvisor before the payment traffic agreement is in effect, it is possible that not all material set for retrieval will be received in Netvisor.
Do I need to separately agree on retrieving exchange rates?
No need. There is no need to agree separately on retrieving exchange rates in the payment traffic agreement. Netvisor automatically retrieves the ECB's exchange rate from the previous day.
Can I make a payment traffic agreement for a personal account?
No, you cannot. The payment traffic agreement can only be made for a company account, not for a personal bank account.
Is a separate agreement required for sending business e-invoices?
No. Sending business e-invoices is automatically enabled in Netvisor for each customer company, and no company-specific agreement is needed.
How do I enable sending consumer e-invoices?
Select sending consumer e-invoices (e-invoice, direct payment invoice) in the payment traffic agreement. Pay particular attention in Osuuspankki's agreement to the e-invoice reception section and the e-invoicing address field.
What should I do when the company's bank changes?
Make a payment traffic agreement with the new bank for the desired services and add a new bank account to Netvisor by selecting Company menu > Bank account management > New bank account. If you send consumer e-invoices or direct payment invoices, make the change notification for the billing notification while the old account and agreement are still valid.
How do I ensure that purchase invoices paid through Netvisor are automatically acknowledged?
Ensure that:
- account statements arrive in Netvisor (e.g. daily account statement in KTO/TITO format)
- the details of outgoing payments are selected on the account statement (e.g. in Osuuspankki and OmaSP on the batch transfer account statement)
- payment feedback (pain.002.001.02) has been ordered.
What should I do if currency payments cannot be selected with Nordea's digital power of attorney?
Fill out the digital power of attorney for euro accounts and enable currency payments afterward by contacting Nordea. This applies to payments outside the SEPA area.
