This guide explains the handling of quality in Netvisor. Quality handling is a feature that allows the recording of delivered quality during the receipt entry of a purchase order. This can be enabled separately, and quality deviations are reported in the Open purchase orders listing.

Implementing quality handling
Quality handling can be found under purchase orders. The company must have the purchase order allowance service enabled for the view to open.
You can open the view by selecting Purchases > Purchase orders > Quality handling.
Quality handling is a feature that, when enabled, allows the recording of delivered quality during the receipt entry of a purchase order. By default, quality handling is not enabled.
If a quality category is set as a quality deviation on this page and the specified quality is defined for the delivery upon receipt, the quality deviation is reported in the Open purchase orders listing.
- Click the Off option next to the Quality handling setting.
- Select On to activate quality handling.
Adding a new quality category
Adding a new quality category can be done using the "Add new quality category" button.
- Click the "Add new quality category" button.
- In the Handled as a quality deviation section, select either "Yes" or "No".
- In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the new quality category.
- Enter the name of the quality category also in English and Swedish if you use the English or Swedish interface.
- Click the "Add new" button to save the quality category.
Handled as a quality deviation: Choose "Yes" or "No" for quality deviations. A quality deviation is a quality that differs from the ordered quality during delivery receipt. If a quality category is set as a quality deviation on this page and the specified quality is defined for the delivery upon receipt, the deviation is reported in the Open purchase orders listing.
Name: Provide a descriptive name for the new quality category. If using the English or Swedish interface, the quality category must also be provided in these languages. The quality category is saved using the "Add new" button.
Removing / hiding a quality category
An already created quality category can be removed using the X link at the end of the respective row, if the quality category has not been used.
- Click the X link at the end of the row of the quality category to be removed.
- Confirm the removal by selecting "Remove" when the system asks: "Are you sure you want to remove the quality category?".
If the quality category has already been used, it cannot be removed. In this case, the quality category can be hidden.
- Click the X link at the end of the row of the quality category that is in use.
- Read the notification: "The quality category is in use and cannot be removed from the system. The quality category can be hidden."
- Click the "Hide" button to hide the quality category.
- Open hidden quality categories by selecting the "Show hidden" link when you want to view the hidden categories.
- In the Status section, select the hidden quality category to make it visible again if you want to reuse it.
A hidden category can no longer be used, but it will still appear in reports.
From the view of quality categories in use, you can choose whether the quality category is handled as a quality deviation or not. The position of quality categories can be changed from the section in front of the row. The name of the quality category can be edited using the pencil link in the quality category field.
- Select on the quality category row whether the quality category is handled as a quality deviation or not.
- Move the position of the quality category by grabbing the section in front of the row and rearranging the rows.
- Click the pencil link in the quality category field to edit the name of the quality category.
Visibility of quality category
The quality category is visible in the purchase order view. It is possible to display the field "Quality deviations in delivery" in the view. Also, the Delivered field can show quality deviations.
If the Delivered field is orange, it contains quality deviations.

- Open the receipt of the purchase order delivery.
- Select a suitable quality category for the delivery from the drop-down list in the Quality field.
- Check whether a downward thumb is visible in the Quality field when a quality deviation has been defined.
