This guide covers the settings for financial statements in Netvisor.
You can open the view by selecting Bookkeeping > Settings > Financial statement settings or Financial statements > Compile financial statements > Financial statement settings.

Financial statement settings
In the financial statement settings, you define what information will be visible in the financial statement balance book.

Switch the settings to edit mode:
- Select the Edit button in the financial statement settings.
You can write the desired title in the financial statement title field. If the company needs to prepare, for example, a final settlement or interim financial statements, the title field can be changed so that the financial statement title matches the appropriate purpose. If the Financial statement executor field is left empty, the basic company of the person who executed the financial statements will appear in the field. By manually writing in the field, you can display the desired text in the balance book.

Define the financial statement title and executor:
- Enter the desired title (for example final settlement or interim financial statements) in the Financial statement title field.
- Leave the Financial statement executor field empty if you want the basic company of the person who executed the financial statements to appear automatically.
- Enter text manually in the Financial statement executor field if you want your own text to be shown in the balance book.
Signatories are added to the financial statement signature section. If there are multiple signatories, new signatories can be added in the Add new signatory section. There is no limit to the number of signatories. Additionally, you can change the order of signatories or remove a desired signatory from the view. Furthermore, the CEO/responsible person is automatically included in the financial statement signature invitation when the invitation is created from the financial period archive. If the CEO appears as a signatory twice, check that they have not been manually added as a signatory.

Add and manage signatories:
- Add signatories in the Financial statement signature section.
- Select Add new signatory when you want to add a new signatory. There is no limit to the number of signatories.
- Change the order of signatories in the view if necessary.
- Remove a signatory if needed.
- Note that the CEO/responsible person is automatically included in the financial statement signature invitation when the invitation is created from the financial period archive.
- If the CEO appears as a signatory twice, check that they have not been manually added as a signatory.
In the financial statement entry section, you can decide whether the entered information will be displayed in the financial statement balance book or not. The text field for the financial statement entry can be manually entered with the desired text. There is no limit to the number of signatories.

Define the financial statement entry:
- In the Financial statement entry section, choose whether the entered information is shown in the financial statement balance book.
- Enter the desired text manually in the Financial statement entry text field.
- Add signatories to the financial statement entry if needed. There is no limit to the number of signatories.
All modifications made to the settings are saved with the Save button at the bottom.

Save the settings:
- Select Save at the bottom of the view after you have made the changes.
Accounting and voucher type settings
In the accounting and voucher type settings, the active accountings from Netvisor are automatically included. Other accountings can be added by the accountant. The same principles apply to voucher types. Naming and changing the voucher number range for vouchers in Netvisor is restricted. Voucher types and voucher number range are displayed in this view based on the active fiscal year in the financial statement view. This information is visible in the balance book on the List of accountings and materials page.

Review and complete accountings and voucher types:
- Check that the active accountings are visible in the settings.
- Add other accountings if needed by the accountant.
- Note that the same principles apply to voucher types.
- Note that naming vouchers and changing the voucher number range in Netvisor is restricted.
- Use the voucher types and voucher number ranges shown in the view, which are based on the active fiscal year in the financial statement view.
- Note that this information is visible in the balance book on the List of accountings and materials page.

Archiving settings: The storage method for the financial statements must be manually written in the Archiving text field.

Accountings: In the accountings section, you select which accountings the financial statements include. For example, different sub-accountings can be listed in this section. Information can be added manually through the Edit button in the Add new accounting section and you can choose whether the information will be visible or not. The Selected option makes the information visible.

Voucher types: Displays the company's voucher types and the first and last voucher number. Naming and changing the voucher number range for vouchers in Netvisor is restricted.

Balance sheet specification settings
For balance sheet specifications, existing information can be changed, but there can only be one creator, reviewer, and approver for the balance sheet specification. The creator information for the balance sheet specification also appears in the financial period archive in the "Accountant" field.

- Change the existing information for balance sheet specifications if needed.
- Make sure that there is only one creator, one reviewer and one approver for the balance sheet specification.
- Note that the creator information for balance sheet specifications appears in the financial period archive in the Accountant field.
In the opening balance and period change section, you decide whether the opening balances and period changes are displayed in the balance sheet specification.
In the zero balance rows section, you can choose whether zero balance rows are displayed in the balance sheet specification. The selection includes zero balance accounts and tracking objects.

- In the Opening balance and period change section, choose whether opening balances and period changes are shown in the balance sheet specification.
- In the Zero balance rows section, choose whether zero balance rows are shown in the balance sheet specification.
- Note that the zero balance rows selection applies to zero balance accounts and tracking objects.
Financial statement report settings
On the financial statement report settings tab, you can decide on the formation of attachment data documents. The options are to create attachment data documents as a separate report or after the balance sheet specifications.

- Open the Financial statement report settings tab.
- Choose whether attachment data documents are created as a separate report or after the balance sheet specifications.
If the formation of the balance sheet specification is slow and there are multiple attachment data documents, it is advisable to try creating attachment data documents as a separate report.

Translation of settings and modification of title information
It is possible to modify the title texts in the financial statement settings and set translations for the texts. Defining translations in the financial statement settings is possible when foreign languages such as Swedish and/or English are defined in the company's basic data (Company menu > Company basic data and settings > Basic data).

Enable translations:
- Open Company menu > Company basic data and settings > Basic data.
- Define Swedish and/or English as foreign languages if you want to use translations in the financial statement settings.
- Edit title texts in the financial statement settings and add translations for them.
Editing title texts allows you to modify previously fixed title information printed in the financial statements. At the same time, it is possible to provide a translation for the modified texts, which will be printed when the user's default language is changed.
Editing and translating titles is possible for the following titles:

- Financial statement entry signature location

The fiscal year interval of the financial statements is automatically printed in the financial statement title information below the title given in the settings.
