With the Netvisor earning payment report, it is possible to apply for compensation from Kela, i.e., make an employer's sickness daily allowance application. This is done through the earning payment report in the payroll process. A parental leave compensation application can also be made directly from the software to Kela.
First, a payslip is created in the payroll process. When the payslip is in the "Unprocessed payslips" stage, the earning payment report can be previewed with the "Preview" button. On the "Working hours, travel, and absences" tab, you can view working hours information transferred from the working hours entry and manually add paid (and unpaid) absences if necessary.
For the compensation application, there must be a paid absence for at least one full working day in the Absences section.

Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. "Reason for absence" is selected from the dropdown menu. "Amount of pay during absence" is given in euros. From the dropdown menu in the "Type of payment information" section, you select whether it is a daily allowance application or parental leave compensation. The payment specification is given in its own field.
For it to be possible to apply for Kela's compensation from the software, the employer must have given Kela consent to receive an electronic decision, and there must be an email address in the contact persons field in the "Material information" section of the earning payment report. Additionally, the company must have reported its account number to Kela before making the application. Please note that medical certificates and statements must still be sent to Kela, even if the daily allowance application is sent directly from the system.
Netvisor has a general help guide for absences in the earning payment report, which you can access here. You can read more about paid absences on the Income Register's website.
