Employee management is one of the function-specific rights on the "Users and roles" page, which can be granted read or edit rights.
Employee management means that the user can edit the basic data of employees. The basic data of an employee can be accessed from the employee listing. For example, the company's HR staff can manage employee data and create new employees in Netvisor within the company hierarchy with these rights.

Function-specific rights and roles
For payroll calculation function-specific rights, edit rights from the personal register are needed for employee data management, so that the user is allowed into the Employee listing.
Pay > Personnel > Employee listing
In payroll calculation function-specific rights, edit rights are added to the "Employee management" section. Payroll calculation profiles with the necessary rights already included: Employee, All rights, Approver, and Company management.

Payroll calculation roles complement the function-specific right.

Payroll accountant (P-role)
The Payroll accountant role given to the user overrides hierarchy rights and grants the user rights to see all employees. Mainly, employee data cannot be managed without the P-role.
Accessing pay bases, tax cards, and employee history data requires the Payroll accountant (P) role.
Help: Payroll accountant role (P-role)
An employee can only be deleted with the Payroll accountant (P) role. An employee can only be deleted if there is no data related to the employee (e.g., history data, working hours records, travel expense reports, or payslips).
The delete function is found in the employee's information on the first tab at the top of the page in the "Employee actions" dropdown menu.

Personal details handler (HH-role)
With the Personal details handler role, employees can be managed through the employee listing. In the employee listing, the role sees all employees but can only edit employees according to the company hierarchy. In other views, the role respects hierarchy rights, unlike the P-role.
During the creation phase of an employee, only a level to which the user has approval rights can be set as the employee's hierarchy.
Company hierarchy
Alongside the Personal details handler (HH) role, the user needs approval rights from the company hierarchy for the level whose employee's basic data they can handle in the employee listing. A user with the HH role sees all employee settings when drilling down from the employee's name in the employee listing, but not other tabs, such as tax cards, payslips, or employment data.
